Every fall since 1954 Lucy has placed the football and jerked it away as Charlie runs up to kick it. "
Ha, ha" says Lucy. "Aarrgh
" says Charlie.
Every year Lucy promises not to pull it away and every year the result is the same; "
ha, ha", "aarrgh
". It has now happened 53 times and still Charlie hasn't learned.
Governor Granholm only has 8 years but she's already beaten Lucy's record after 5.

We thought we'd have a business minded Chief Operating Officer who'd shape up the bureacracy. You know, a sort of a fire-breathing Iacocca. Someone to do the job Devos would have done and that Lucy should but can't.
Instead, in comes the touchy feely guy,
Dan Krichbaum,
who'll have everyone holding hands and singing kum-by-yah. You don't get much for $130,000 a year these days.
Ha, ha!
Aarrgh!

During the election campaign Lucy promised "I wont raise taxes."
We get the biggest tax increase in Michigan's history.
Ha, ha!
Aarrgh!

"You'll be blown away!"  says Lucy.
It's Volkswagen, K-Mart, Pfizer and Comerica that have Gone With the Wind.
Ha, ha!
Aarrgh!

"We'll cut spending to the bone"
After we've boondoggled the new unwanted $127 million State Police HQ.
Ha, ha!
Aarrgh!

Ha, ha!
Aarrgh!
